iCity Lab invited to celebrate Finland’s 100 years of independence with Singapore - Finland Dialogue Series

27 Apr 2017

To celebrate the joyous occasion, the Embassy of Finland invited iCity Lab to attend a seminar on “Creating Solutions for Active Ageing - Together If you rest, you rust! How to live an active life to 100 +” held at Huone Singapore on 27th April 2017.

Aging is inevitable, the difference is in the way we age, aging positively is the way to go. This is a common challenge that both Finland and Singapore face. Both countries have established Diplomatic Relations in the Year 1973 and now Finland is celebrating its 100th year of independence.

Minister of State of Singapore, Mr. Chee Hong Tat and Minister of Social Affairs and Health of Finland, Ms. Pirkko Mattila graced the event and have echoed that the close relationship has provided a platform for companies with a common interest to interact and collaborate.

The seminar is part of the year-long SuomiFinland 100 Singapore program and is organised in cooperation between the Embassy of Finland, Finpro and SuomiFinland 100 Singapore organisation.
